Peterson Prize 2019
Each year Five Colleges awards the Peterson Prize to a student embodying the commitment to collaboration that characterizes Lorna Peterson, the consortium’s longtime director who retired in 2009. This year the prize goes to Caroline Dunbar, a Smith student in the Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (REEES) Program. She was nominated by Five College joint appointees Evgeny Dengub and Sergey Glebov, who said of her: "Caroline’s academic career has so far embodied many of the values of Five College cooperation as she developed her course of study in the Russian Five College academic community.” Congratulations, Caroline!
