Between Us: A Social Practice Exhibition
Enrolling the three top students from each campus, the Five College Advanced Studio Seminar creates a vibrant community of varying ideas, perspectives and approaches to art. This year the course, entitled Make It Public: Art and Social Practice, introduced students to the field of Social Practice and provided students with an opportunity to develop artistic projects in the public sphere that engage with people or place. Taught at Amherst College, the course’s end-of-semester gallery show took place at the Eli Marsh Gallery. Photos by Noah Loving.
