More than 300 freshmen and transfer students from the campuses of the Five College Consortium attended the Orientation Social held on Jan. 27, 2012 at UMass Amherst to meet new people, enjoy great food and student performances, and to learn more about the opportunities available through the consortium.

Featured student performance groups from each of the Five Colleges included: UMass Insanely Prestigious Step Team and the Doo Wop Shop, Amherst College Jazz Combo, Hampshire College Crazy Pitches, Mount Holyoke College Dancers, Smith College Crapapella and Groove.
